Lazy Entry was a fancy name for the memory seat / mirrors settings, programmable by fob 1 or 2, in the LR3 and first gen. Range Rover Sport. I don't think that term / system is being used in the LR4 anymore, AFAIK you cannot save specific seat settings to an individual fob anymore. Thank goodness, because while that sounded like a good idea for households with more than one driver using the same car, the system was buggy as hell. I had that "feature" on my 2006 Sport and had to disable it for my side mirrors not to start pointing up to the sky every few weeks.![]()
Is there a way to undo a programmed FOB setting without going to the dealer? On our 08 RR everytime I grab the "spare FOB" and unlock the doors the driver seat goes all the way back and almost all the way down. I presume the previous owner did this and he must have been the size of Andre the Giant if he actually needed the seat in that position. I thought I had read the FOB programming had to be done by the dealer and so I never investigated undoing it. Nothing is programmed to the main FOB, so it's a sporadic event and not a major deal, but strange nontheless.
