yeh def... tranny is overrated and nonessential! and who needs to batteries and rotors!apparently according to Escalade forum members, you shouldn’t have done any of those things and just changed oil and brake pads and would’ve been fine. clearly struck a nerve there.![]()
theyre def not cheap but beats suffering depreciation on a new car that just constantly beeps at youI've had my 2013 LR4 for about 3.25 years and my maintenance costs total $9,621 and my repair costs total $15,817 for a total of $25,439. Maintenance includes standard stuff like oil & filter changes and brake jobs. Repair includes replacing parts such as control arms, air struts, front diff, AC compressor, radiator, motor mounts, expansion tank, water pump, coolant pipes, etc. I guess you just combine it all and consider it maintenance as in maintaining the vehicle as parts wear out.
