The Slovakia post and the JD Powers posts were two entirely different topics, posted 10 days apart, there was no correlation being made between the two...

Another "thought-to-be" Defender mule (drivetrain only, not the actual body) spotted in Leamington, south of Coventry. This one looks similar to the other one seen.

Some not so encouraging news considering how much more tech JLR is pumping into the new vehicles:

My 2016 LR4 Landmark has not had any issues. Well. The battery died 500 miles before the end of the warranty and everything was taken care of. But no electrical gremlins. I live in the Colorado mountains and take the LR off road, in the sand, and long road trips.

It’s surprising to see Subaru is in the top 5 and Honda in the top 10. BMW and Mercedes are very tech heavy (wife has a E300) and they look very reliable.

Here is as much info as is available about JLR and what they are up to now and in the future - this is their investor presentation from June 22, 2018. No specifics on the Defender other than release in Fiscal 2020-2021. I had to break it down into parts for it to fit here.
