What are my options for a non-OEM LR3 battery for a 2005 HSE and where's the best place to buy?

Thanks

The Interstate MTP-H8 is an identically sized replacement for the OEM, down to the location of the socket for the little pressure relief hose... In fact, were it not because of the color of the battery (the Interstate is white), you'd think it's an OEM. But the MTP has better CCA and reserve capacity numbers than the stock battery, so at least on paper it should perform better and last longer. I paid about $150 for it at a nearby Firestone tire dealer, they had to special order that size as it's not very common but it only took them a day to get it. Remember that if your car is still under factory warranty, the dealer will give you a new one FOC should yours be dying.

Replacement batteries are the Interstate MTP-H8. Interstate has been the authorized replacement battery for Land Rover product since I can remember. Get it from Firestone, Interstate, or even your dealer! Pricing is all over the place on batteries lately.
Don't go cheap on these! The car takes a lot of power to operate the electrical architecture. As always, a quality purchase may cost more @ the beginning, but will usually last longer and perform more reliably thatn saving a few bucks today.
