I posted some Photobucket steps in your other thread

Regarding driving lights, has anyone attempted to mount non-LR driving lights onto the OEM A-Frame bar?

Im getting ready to this weekend most likely. I sold my chevy truck i had and on that i had two lightforce 240's and two lightforce 170's. I waiting on some new wiring kits to come in from Alaska (where im from but live in North carolina for now) so i can wire them. I dont think ill have a spot for the 240's on the a-frame but im thinking of just trying to find a nice roof rack (something similar to a yakima mega load warrior basket) and putting them all up top. Ill let you know how it works out.

I also have a set of xetronic 6000K DS2 bulbs for the headlights to put in and a xetronic H11 6000K HID kit for my fogs to drop in also, ill let you know!

On another note i love Lightforce lights. I think there is no better light on the market, with the amount of customization you can do with these things they are more than worth the money. I have Blue covers, yellow covers and clear covers, and black ones for the looks. But if you didnt know anything about them they do look cheap an shoddy but the big boys put out 1 million candelpower with the optional bulbs, also with the different covers you can change your lights from spot to flood and a combo spot/flood. I usually run clear flood covers for the 170's (6.5") and spots for the 240's (10.5") and they will light up about 3/4 a mile down the road, they are amazing in snow also with the blue covers! Sorry for the rant LOL

Thanks Tyranian! USAA is stating they want to fix it, something about 75% of the value and evidently 18k in damages is about 1500 under what would be considered "totalled".

J.D. got your msg. USAA has been amazing. I will keep you posted. I've been going back and forth between the threads on the forum and email. Chat more with you there.

I know it's terrible to ask, but do you have any pictures after the accident of your car? :ahhhhh:

That depends on how public you want them to be. It's up to you. Frankly, you don't even have to show them to anyone if you'd rather not. I know it's a touchy subject.
