Key missing for factory roof rail LR3

I can't find my factory roof rail key to remove the rails. I am hoping one of you may have a key that will fit. There is a number on the lock(s) N157. All 4 locks are the same. I called my local dealer in Harrisburg PA and they don't have one that matches. I guess my other alternative is to leave them on, or to pay a locksmith to pick the locks. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Somewhere along the line (do a search here), somebody said the rack and locks are actually manufactured by Thule. (could be Yakima, but I think its Thule) If that is the case, you may be able to contact them to get another set of keys made.

instructor....what year is your rover? When did you receive it or rather your x-bars?

Contact Thule Customer Service Department Tell them the Key #

You might even be able to stop by a store that has Thule racks and get an extra key. It's pretty standard for those guys to carry extras. If not, just order one. It takes a week. I've had the same problem.

Thanks for the tip. Based on the Thule message, I actually found an old key from a rack and it fit in the keyway, but as luck would have it, wouldn't turn as it was key N149. I just ordered a replacement on a Thule dealer website.

Thanks for the replies! My LR3 is an '05 with 24k miles on it. Other than the roof leaking, it has been good to me.

Amazon has them, you will just need your 4 digit code, Got mine work great. Old Thread but I was looking a while back so if future interest Amazon has them.
