I have seen the IIDTool mentioned a number of times on this forum and others. And looking at one of the active threads on tires I saw where someone apparently increased the height of his LR4 using one of these tools to make sure the tires clear or to alter the height of the front relative to the rear.
Is that for real? Can you really use a tool like this to customize your vehicle? What does it do to the warranty? What are the risks? Is it recommended?
It seems really cool but I am not one to jailbreak my iPhone and would want to make sure I'm not breaking something. Given how many appear to be using these tools then I would expect that if you use common sense you can use them safely?
What are some of the things people do with them?
(From what I could tell on their website I would go with the BT version and use my iPhone as the interface.)
