I have a 05 lr3,

I have a leak i believe in the front. Im pretty sure it is either the front air block or a front air strut.
It is not that bad of a leak and usually just takes a long time to fill up the front. Also the compressor stays on for a long time and that causes the fuse to blow.

I was planning on replacing the block soon, I also had a brake light come on a week ago so i decided to handle the breaks first.

I did not know there was a cretin procedure for jacking this truck up, with that being said i proceeded to jack the passenger side up by the frame rail. As i did this the rear purged some air and the back end lowered. I put it on a jack stand the proceeded to jack the other side up by the frame rail. And the same thing happened for the other side.

I thought nothing of it and proceeded to inspect the breaks only to find the sensor wire got loose and damaged and was tripping the sensor, the breaks looked 85%.

I loaded up the truck for a road trip and immediately noticed the 60a fuse to the air compressor was blown. after changing it a warning came on that i have never seen something along the lines of "compressor air hot vehicle will rise when cooled" but it never raised.

Then the dash sensor indicating a suspension problem changed from orange to red and said max mph30.

Please Help I rebuilt the compressor 4 month ago and i am pretty certain that is not the issue but i could be wrong, is the some other way of resetting the air system other than pulling the battery leads for 30min?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Im going to try this when i get back home hopefully it was the problem

"if your truck has been sent to the bump stops with lift rods, there is a good chance that the rods have pushed the sensor out of the range it is capable of reading. A fast trail fix is to lift the truck up front and rear at the same time. By doing this it will allow the hight sensor to go back into a position where the computer can read the values again."

I found when my front strut air bag went, it was noticable when in off road extended mode, it sounded like belts squealing. The compressor also ran quite a bit more than normal. The issue showed itself gradually but getting an occasional error on the dash. The codes thrown were too many transitions... ie: fill up, leak down, fill up leak down, while driving.

A spray bottle of soapy water is your friend, and some patience.

The lift rods.. what are they, tires equal pressure, sensors, alignment all can play a part.
