Noticed 5days ago gradual condensation inside the Lens of the Driver side Headlight, Weather has changed (Colder). Thought it would disappear but now seem like Droplets of Water on the lens( Fogging). I replaced by myself the Halogen bulb about a year ago on this side. Seems like i would need to purchase a new complete Headlamp assembly to rectify problem. Any Ideas of what to do or How much a new one cost and where to purchase at a Reasonable Price.

You've more than likely improperly re-installed the rear cover when you replaced the bulb a year ago. Take the entire assembly out and try to dry out the moisture. Double check the cover O-Ring and make sure you didn't pinch or damage the ring. Since you've already replaced the bulb, you know how to easily it is to take the assembly out. Go from there.

Thanks for the information, i will take out the whole assembly and re-fit. Per the Oven Baking suggestion, i am not sure how that works, but will try to dry out the moisture.

Over a heat register or near a fan.

All you need is air circulation to dry out the headlight.

I suggest just open up all the bulb openings and then point a household fan at the assembly for a few hours - say over night.

Alternatively, you could set the assembly near a heat register but I prefer the fan concept of just blowing normal household air in / around / thru the assembly.

Too hot and too quick.

Gentle is what you want.

Too hot will just seem like it works. The moisture will vapourize near instantly but if there is not real air change, then once the heated air inside cools down, the wet will reappear.

That is why I suggest a household fan and overnight.

You can try the hair dryer but on a low heat setting and if it works good, if not then the dull not **** way.

There is a TSB out for this on the earlier cars. I believe it had something to do with a faulty vent. I haven't seen the TSB in a while for it so I don't remember exactly what the fix was.
