Was there any recalls for crappy seam welds on the LR4s? Just curious. I live in and extremely dry climate, garage the LR4 and My driver door is completely rusting out on the lower seam. The car is kept extremely clean and the seam areas on all doors are cleaned when washing as I recall there can be an accumulation of dirt and stuff on the rear doors.

I’m in the same position. mind you, just surface rust on the inside the seam. I’m going to try a rust converter, then a sealant, then an inhibitor.
Will it change or add to the conversation? Or do you just want to see what the damage looks like? I guess I could get my lazy ass outside and take a few. The pressure is on you now to use them and provide meaningful addition to the thread.

Wow, interesting response. No, would not add or change conversation, Just curious being it’s a possible defect. So if it’s to much trouble don’t bother.
