Door Opening while locked

'05 LR3 SE V8

All doors and rear hatch fully lock. My problem is that my driver side door, even though I can see that it locks, will still open. The alarm will sound but i am still able to open the door.

Any thoughts or common issue would be much appreciated!!!

sounds like a bad door lock actuator. do a quick search here and you should find some other discussion on the same issue.
