I have been looking to get a Nice set of 19in or 20in Rims for my LR3.

Roveractive on Ebay has different 20in Rims that are from the RRS & RR that fit the LR3, I would like mine to be different from all the other HSE's out there, My question to all of you is have you fitted any 20in Land Rover Rims to your LR3's ? I feel if you go with aftermarket it looks ridiculous... If you have fitted any Type of 20in Rims Let me know...

Does it affect Ride Quality ?
Price ?
Maybe some Pics ?

Once again... Use Search for "Wheels". Many threads have covered this subject in depth.
Also refer to this link already supplied in another thread:

I just thought this was a great 'video' to watch! Never meant anything harsh by it!! Sorry. Very funny/informative though....

wow...a little harsh az....but im sure they get the point now...

basically, you wont feel any difference with different rims--because the bigger the rim, the smaller the sidewall of the tire, but the DIAMETER remains the same, so you will not feel much...maybe a little rougher ride as there is less sidewall flex over bumps, but you arent changing the circle size of your 'tires' really....hope that makes sense to more than just me

price is going to be astronomical as you should know, but hey, you bought a new land rover so why price is a concern now, really doesnt matter! whats a few more grand?!

and i do not have pics, i am running my 97 disco 1 on stock 16" alloys...

*edit: ok.... *<-- size of stock tire on stock rim....o<-- size of 20" rim with smaller sidewall....see, they are still the same size, just make sure you do the math to see how big a tire you need on your 20s to get the same general size you are running now....

There are some pretty good deals on ebay with fairly new RRS 19 and 20 inch wheels and tires. However, the RRS runs a smaller diameter tire than those on the LR3. The wheels will fit fine, but you might want to check a tire size calculator online if you don't want your speedometer & odometer thrown off. I put the 19 inch RRS wheels on my LR3 with 255/55/19 tires instead of the 255/50/19 that come on the RRS. I can't tell a difference with the ride. I like the look better than the stock 18s on the SE.

I haven't taken any pics since i put 'em on. I'll try to take some tomorrow and post 'em. I also have a pic somewhere of another LR3 with the 20in RRS wheels. I'll try to find it as well. The 20in wheels look very nice, but were a bit more expensive, so I went with the 19. If I spent more time off-roading, then I would have actually gone with the 17s and beefier tires. The 19's with GY HP's have worked fine offroading for me, but more serious guys would probably want more. Unfortunately, most of my driving time is spent on the freeway from home to work.

Alright man, can't wait for the pictures, thanks for all the help... Do you know if any one has fitted RR 20's on the LR3 ?

Here's a few pics of my LR3 with the 19in RRS wheels and GY HP 255/55/19 tires. I have a pic somewhere of a black LR3 with the 20in RRS wheels that I saw parked in Dallas, but I can't seem to find it. If I come across it, I'll post it.
