Just got ACC working in my 2015 LR4.
Bought a radar unit off eBay that had the metal bracket attached. Ordered brand new switch buttons from a dealer. Paid for a flash from GAP.
To mount the radar unit I popped it out of the metal bracket and attached it to the magnesium structure that holds the horn and grill using a couple rivnuts. This puts the radar unit behind the upper section of the bumper and above the front license plate. I used a couple M8 nuts to space it off the structure.
Adding the switches was a little intimidating, but not bad. Disconnect the batteries and walk away, no one wants to take an airbag to the face. Several hours later I used my homemade airbag removal tool,3/32 stick welding rod with a short hook on it, to remove the airbag. Slide the tool into the slots on each side of the steering wheel, pull the tip of the tool towards you, and pull hard towards the door. This releases a spring, it takes some effort. Remove a few t20s on the back of the wheel and remove the old switches and pop in the new. Reassemble. Airbag just pops back in.
Flash from GAP is straightforward.
Setting the CCF wasn't bad either.
