Have a 2014 RRS L494 and with my GAP IID tool recently found I had an error code "B105-97 Cabin temperature sensor fan - component failure - component system operation obstructed or blocked." After some research found that the sensor/fan is located just to the right of the steering column behind a small vent which is located below the start button (American vehicles). (See Pic) After gently prying off the vent cover with a screwdriver, I found there was some small lint type debris wrapped around the shaft and with a pair of tweezers was able to remove the dust/debris and solved the issue without having to replace the sensor or remove any of the dash. Just be careful not to damage the small thin wire in front of the small fan. Reset the codes with the GAP IID tool and all is good. Thought I would post this one, as I didn't see that anyone else had posted on the location of the sensor or potential resolution to this issue.
