Sorry for flooding the tech thread with posts. Doing some preventive and timely maintenance as I've rolled over to 92,500mi recently.

My brakes are soon due for replacement. Lucky8 has a set of EBC slotted & drilled rotors/pads on sale for $648 from $950ish. Are these on sale for a negative reason? Has anyone used this set? I'm looking to yield brake dust by using ceramics over traditional. Additionally, I've found a few OEM sets on eBay for $500ish. Specially a Brembo set. I would of course have to purchase sensors, etc. no big deal. Opinions?

This thread is pretty exhaustive with regard to brakes on the LR4:

The short of it is that many on here use EBC brakes, but others choose to use OEM.

I put new EBC pads and rotors on mine back in early November and they are still doing great.

Price check these on placeforbrakes.com, which I found to be the cheapest when I bought mine.

No problem. It would just be hard to retype everything in that thread! Haha.
