Just a heads up for you guys looking for a good fuel treatment for your tank. I spoke with a master LR tech after having my o2 sensors replaced. I had used two bottles of STP fuel treatment after refueling on my '05. I did this because my start-up's were lacking in time and figured with 86k miles it could use a little cleaning. Not even 3 weeks after using it I was having issues. I had the sensors replaced two days ago with no further issues and asked to have the old sensors back. I had them inspected and turns out by me adding the treatment it fouled the o2's. Land Rover does have a fuel treatment bottle available, but not sure who actually makes the formula.

My two cents is all.

I have heard, that using fuel treatments with alcohol in it is bad, because of the ethanol in gas these days. I do not know what STP has in it. The company certainly has a good reputation.

I have been using sea foam periodically to keep things cleaned up. This started as a result of a 600 "cleaning" at the dealers which did not cure the engine light coming on. They claimed they cleaned it, however the light came back on, on the way home. I did some reading, added the sea foam, and soon thereafter the light went out, and has not come on since.

I add a can with a fill up periodically, every month or two, depending on how much fuel I am burning.

Good to know. I'll check SeaFoam out. I use it on my boat and Seadoo without issue. Thanks.

I just used BG 44k on my LR along with an oil change before driving to Vegas the first week of this month but I'm just noticing that the acceleration is smoother and no issues 600+ miles later.

I've only been able to find it online. The website has a distributor locator.

Robb, did you tighten the gas cap far enough? Normal issue with check engine light right after opening gas cap for fuel or otherwise is not getting it tight enough.
