Wait a sec, so LUX does not come with the 10 spoke wheels now? That would suck, i really like that design, and am not diggin the new 7 spoke design. They should give the customer option to chose.

In the interior photo with Arabica seat, it looks like the 2013 has a Jag style transmission (with knob, instead of a stick) and they change the 4WD control just like in RR/Evoque (no knob). However, the interior photo with Ivory seat looks just like 2012's. I'm guessing the photo with Arabica interior is the correct 2013 transmission and 4WD controls?

I am very curious if the 2013s do indeed have the knob gear shifter???

I do not believe any NAS get the rotary shifter.

That's what I was thinking... I had asked a sales guy at my dealership and he said he was pretty sure the gear shifter would remain as is and NOT go to the Jaguar/RR style knob.

No rotary knob. As mentioned elsewhere in this forum, that's still only for European models with the new 8-speed ZF tranny and diesel engines. As long as NAS models keep being fitted with the current 6-speed box, we (alone in the world...) will keep getting the more traditional shifter.

i'd much rather prefer and keep the shifter as appose to the knob. Had a jag as a loaner a few months ago with that knob. Its novelty for the first few mins, then when you want to get back to that feeling of control with your right hand on the gear shifter as you turn the steering wheel, you really miss it, and knob just doesn't cut it. Steering mounted shift pedals are too flimsy and non-inspiring when you want to drive in manual.

Has anyone seen what the two new interior wood options actually look like? They sound interesting, but the press photos Land Rover released show the currently available wood.

My 2013 is being built as we speak, completion date 11/14 and ETA / planned delivery 12/28/12 (it'd be cool if I could have it before year's end, for tax reasons.) So, even though Land Rover's web site is still showing 2012s, 2013s are going to be out there real soon. Still don't know the price with all my options, once the car gets a VIN - should be any day now - I should know.
