2011 LR4 Rear Entertainment Remote Not working

Alright guys.. ran into another odd issue. My remote for the rear entertainment is not working. Almost acts as if its not paired. Anyone know anything about this system?

Hate to state the obvious... But have you checked the batteries? Also, make sure you flip the switch on the back of the remote to the side of the system you want to control (left or right screen), and point the remote straight at the screen, as that IR signal is very directional. Finally, remember that as long as the front monitor is in "Rear Seat Ent." mode, the front passenger / driver acts as supervisor and the remote control is disabled until you exit that screen. I have a 2013 so the interface and remote are likely a bit different, but the "substance" should be about the same...

I was just headed back to delete this thread as I figured it out. I had tried everything but my mistake was leaving the front screen on rear entertainment.

Currently running without a manual as I just picked up the vehicle. Thanks for the support.
