It's very tempting. I would need to get a tire for my fifth wheel and small first aid kit as I haven't finished mine yet...
As far as VT, will you register for it or just go like this (as you will not take part in the event).

If you just plan to watch and drive the snow covered field or a couple obstacles, I'd shoot VO an email just to make sure. But I'm pretty certain Peter will be good with it.

And I wouldn't sweat the full spare and kit. It is a private farm, we can seal a puncture or recover you no problem.

NASdiesel- Are those wheels/tires on your LR4? Any pics of them mounted?

Ok, I just sent an email to Bruce in order to see if I can still join in. I will also email Peter regarding VT. Thank you

C'mon Axel..

It is a first Winter Romp for me as well. I do have a Mantec sump guard ,though, but from I have seen you can hit a beginners trails and feel for it yourself .I will be there with my LR3 and not planning to hit extreme trails as well...yet:smile:, but I will when the time comes..I also have a RS sliders , but still debating to put them back on..It is cold outside ,I have to use a driveway , so will probably skip this protection until spring arrives.
I don't even know anybody there..but I am eager to meet new friends..it is time for me to engage myself more in LR community, as non of my family understands what I am saying ,most of the times, you know:bandit:

Cool, he should be good with it. He may not respond so don't sweat it.

Thor/Axel, I'll be in a built diesel blue d-90 SW with NY plates, hard to miss at romp. The Romp crowd will be from every facit of the rover world. The VT Overland group is a little more focused on overland travel though the event is meant to be more of a skill challenge.

Same for me, I might have met one person who is going to be there.
I might leave super early Saturday morning to get there. Gonna be a long day...

Axel, if you are coming up early Sat. morning, swing by Big G's (http://www.big-g-s-deli.com) before going to Bruce's (it is kind of one on the way anyway). Everyone eats breakfast/brunch there depending on how late we are out the night before and picks up a lunch to go (sandwiches are legend). I'll keep an eye out for you.

Ha ha! This thread certainly took a different direction! ;-) Glad to hear you all are finding ways to enjoy your LR4's in the Northeast.
