06 LR3 Tire Rotation, Alignment Necessary?

I just rotated my tires at 45k miles. After the rotation, it's pulling a bit to the right. Is it common to need to have an alignment after a rotation?

What is the tread wear looking like on each tire? You should always rotate tires, especially on LR3's, every 7500 miles. No, an alignment is not needed because of a rotation, did you check your air pressure, they will all need to be rest and I recommend 5 pound heavier in the front then what Rover suggests for better wear.

Alignment is needed because it is an LR3. The bushings used in the suspension system wear very quickly, causing misalignment and excessive tire wear. If you are running stock goodyear wrangler HP's and have gotten 45k miles, you are something of a miracle! But yes, you are due for an alignment. I made a habit of getting my alignment checked several times a year, and it was necessary every single time.

Actually, the tires are in really good shape. I habitually check the pressure, but I don't over-inflate the fronts. If anything, I keep the rears 2-4 pounds under. I just like the way it rides.

I agree, if its pulling to one side it's an alignment problem. I get mine done once per year.

Nathon, I wasn't the bushings were that prone to wearing on the LR3, so I stand corrected.
I made that statement based on most other 4 wheelers where there is no need to align a vehicle based on a rotation only.

I think you guys out west running over boulders definitely need way more alignments than the 'norm'. I did one when I bought mine @28000 miles, I haven't had one done since. Now at 63,000 miles and tire wear is still great.
