I have an ARB Zero fridge and am getting a slide mount for it. The issue is I don't have anything to mount it to. On trips I pack pretty tight so I don't want to use a strap stretching crossways to the floor anchors to mount it. I'm thinking of using UHMW or a hardwood cut out to my load space...
What is the simplest way to mount a fridge and slide in the rear? I don’t have a drawer system or any type of platform. Is there a product out there that is a quick install for this? I really don’t need anything fancy.
I have a 2011 LR4 and I’m installing L8’s CFE front bumper with a TF winch. I’ve been looking to mount lights on the brush bar but haven’t seen many pictures of that bumper with lights. I’ve got Baja Designs for the fogs and was curious what everyone has mounted on the top, under the hoop...
Mine are noisy: clunks (park to reverse and reverse to park), clack-clack-clacky-clack and tiny vibrating rotation at slow speeds. Usually all resolves itself before 20 mph.
Well, here's a hopeful wrap up to this story. I cut out the fusible link (blue/brown) wire to the + battery post and replaced it with an inline 5A fuse but I still have the same issue. No difference made, so I turned my attention back to the alternator. After trying two Denso alternators I...
Okay, yeah, that's makes sense. One more question, what is the device on the negative battery terminal and what's its purpose? Will it create a charging issue as well? Mine looks "okay" but is a little discolored. Don't know if that means anything.
Yes, I found that bulletin and will do it this weekend and post the hopefully successful results. My concern is the intermittent nature of the charging. A fusible should either be open or closed. Not usually operable intermittently. Thanks!
I'm having a charging issue with my 2011 LR4. I got a battery light and not charging message while driving. I hooked up my Gap tool and found that at idle the alternator load was 100% with minimal accessories on. After checking the basics, I replaced the alternator and battery with an OEM Denso...
I'm going to be taking several longer trips fully loaded in my LR4 and I am planning to change out the undercarriage fluids beforehand. I know with this heat on longer trips I can hear the diffs howl a little since they don't hold much fluid. Has anyone tried using 75W-140 full synthetic fluid...
So I figured out how to do it. And while I was at it I disabled the tire pressure monitoring system. Here are the paths if anyone is interested.
Rear Parking Alarm
Car Config>Confirmed List>Parking Aid>Config ‘10-‘11>Not Fitted
(I also changed) Config ‘12+>Not Fitted
(Note: On my 2011 this...

Can the rear park distance sensors, or audible alarm, be disabled without affecting the backup camera with the Gap IID tool? I can't find any helpful information on this. TIA
