What is the simplest way to mount a fridge and slide in the rear? I don’t have a drawer system or any type of platform. Is there a product out there that is a quick install for this? I really don’t need anything fancy.

Goosegear makes a platform IIRC. Simplest way is to unscrew the factory tie down, and bolt a piece of plywood down over the cargo area using those threaded holes. Then bolt a slide onto the plywood.

Maybe not fancy, but securely locked in place would be essential.
Head into any cabinetry shop and source the most robust slides, with a locking mechanism or consider a fiddle solution. Every door, drawer, device in my sailboat is secured in such a simple way.

If not “secured” you run the risk of course, of projectiles in the event of unexpected maneuveres.

Are you set on the slider? I put my refer in through the passenger door or through the tailgate if I don't need to load gas and water cans. Then I simply tie it down. Its a bit heavy but taking out the water makes it a lot more comfortable. I didn't want the slider mount because it would get in the way.

I have an ARB Zero fridge and am getting a slide mount for it. The issue is I don't have anything to mount it to. On trips I pack pretty tight so I don't want to use a strap stretching crossways to the floor anchors to mount it. I'm thinking of using UHMW or a hardwood cut out to my load space mat size and using the anchor mount holes to anchor it down. That would give me something to mount the fridge slide to. My spare is on the TR rear bumper so I don't have to consider that.

Goosegear has nice stuff but I didn't see anything for an LR4.

I've hoped they'd make a plate for our rear area but no luck. Easiest route is to get some 3/4 plywood or nice baltic birch and cut it to bolt to the four cargo hooks, then mount a nice slide like a Tortuga onto the wood. Or get fancy and throw some marine carpeting on it to soften up. I've been wanting to do that but only managed to make a half plate setup.

3/4” seems kind of thick and heavy. I may go 1/2”. But still undecided on wood or UHMW.
