    Need Quick Opinons

Its the low pressure in the rear thats tripping the TPMS light. Read the inside driver door jam sticker. I think its 34 front, 42 rear.

Will I need a new suspension air compressor eventually?

I also found that my dealer was quick to blame and replace the compressor on mine twice, when it was the front height sensors that had gone bad. Possibly, the sensor caused the compressor to run excessively and burn up. I could not understand how the backend could still go up & down normally...

Anyone Interested In Group Buy: Sump Guard For the Discovery 3

Based on my limited experience and where i wheel - I think the sump guard is a definite 2nd to sliders. If I were to do it again, I would put it somewhere behind A/T tires, adj height arms, full size spare, etc....I probably wouldn't have one yet. ;-)

    Question Regarding Sump Guards

One is specifically designed to accommodate the land rover OEM winch and one does not have the cut outs.

Where do you put your sunglasses?

Thanks, Ill try the between the roof and visor trick. My lights are on auto 100% of the time, and I am 90% certain the headlights never wash. Ill try switching the headlights to "on" and see if that changes anything. Ill check some fuses (or add it to the list for the next maintenance...

Where do you put your sunglasses?

I know its a little less serious than the typical what the best tire question. Slow work day. This time of year here in upsate new york sunglasses dont spend much time on my face and I havnt found a good spot for them when they are not. Im not a fan of the sunvisor clips. I have tried the...

Does your clock reset in cold weather?

Yes - weak battery. THe LR will kill the power to everything non-essential if there is even the slightest chance of not having enough amps to start.

    G4 Challenge Pic I Missed

Nope, not lr4 tail lights. These are the lr3 led accessory lights. Biggest difference is the lr3 led tail light has chrome (vs black) trim and cone (vs flat) shaped brake lights. The LR3 ones look like a cheap after market lamp.

    Pirelli ATR

My LR sits for weeks sometime at the airport with general grabber AT2 - never had this problem. Actually, I never thought issue of this except for seasonal storage of my summer car (but I ended up getting snows for the TT).

Snow and ice = lo or hi range???

I, personally have never needed or considered low range for snow or ice. I cant even imagine the situation were I would. YMMV

    G4 Challenge Pic I Missed

    New Custom Intake Tube

wow - very cool looking. Just curious, were the "leaks" after the MAF? It looks like it from the pic, but I am not so familiar with LR anatomy. I used to love the peaking at the the audi ECU adaption tables to see how close to stoich I could get with maf changes. Someone needs to come up with...

How to wire LR3 Roof Rack lights?

there is space in the b-pillar. I easily ran my thick av cables and power for the drop down dvd player down that path. There maybe room under the door sill to get towards the battery.

    New Brakes?

Agreed that with all 'preformance' modifcations there are tradoffs. I personally have not had any problems with cold, wet, fade, or warping with the EBC green pads. I have driven the tail of the dragon, -12F, and towed a 6K pound boat no problems with them. Less cost and less dust is the only...

    OE Sliders

I think you missed the scarcasm - cut a hole in the slider for the compressor cover and there is no more compressor protection than you have today (a thin plastic and foam cover). If you are off road, that compressor is critical for your return trip. I have thought about putting a t-fitting on...

    OE Sliders

my brandnew compressor under my RS sliders is noticeably quieter than than the 2006 one that was recently replaced under warranty. The dealer charged me $75 to R/I the slider to replace the compressor, but the suspension fault problem was ultimately fixed with new front height senors.

    What happened to LRL?

Maybe the last 'swimsuit issue' was too much for him ;-) Some beautiful pics that he posted. There must be hundreds more from the shoot.

    New Brakes?

interesting about the ebc pads - thats the 1st i have heard of this...i put some on back in sept. Ill let you know how long my rotors last (so far so good and much less brake dust). I wonder if there are any bigger rotor kits that can fit under 18" wheels.

    Powder Coating

Both rocks and forest. Its a fantastic place for the eastcoast wheelers - Its a shame they dont see too many land rovers. General Grabber AT2 tires worked very well there. Not a perfect match. Most PC shops have only a few variations of white to choose from. Mine just looks like its...

    Powder Coating

Yup held up great at Rausch Creek PA and a few other outings. As discussed elsewhere, The sliders get much more use. I like the PC better than paint, although paint could be a closer color match.
