Alarm going off...
The hood can be snug, but the sensor sometimes get 'out of adjustment'. The fix is to bend the small metal clip in the passenger side hood latch. Let me know if you see that message on the dash, and Ill try to explain it better. -

Where does the front brake sensor attach??
It is LF and RR. The connectors are behind the fender liners. I took most of the clips out to pull it back far enough to get my arm in there. -

Stereo oddities
I have a 06 SE trim level stereo. My Kenwood V500 managing the GPS, iPhone, USB, and DVD devices into the factory AUX port. My Bluetooth is the older style with out phone book capability. #1 - If I set the LR stereo subwoofer setting to off (full left), the bass response actually gets slightly... -

Great product anonymous man! Where I wheel (rausch creek, PA) that extra 2" makes ALL the difference in allowing my to keep up with my Wrangler Rubicon friends. One time the truck sneaked back into normal height more (actually old off-road height) after a power off/on cycle. I didnt make it 10... -
tv tuner into LR3 w/ factory NAV screen /
...on that NAVTV link there is a very cool looking FLIR (night vision) product. I dont know of any HDTV (ATSC) automobile tuners. Let us know if you find one. -
Ipod connecting cable for LR3 center console
LR makes an ipod integration socket, but thats not it. (its like this) THat connector is for a specific nokia line of phones. The ipod/mp3 connector is under a 3" panel that flips open on the back (faces the rear seats) of the center console. Odd place to put it, but it is central. The stereo... -
Stuck in the Mud
18s or 19s, no difference in the mud - Neil is correct, Skyler has 19" "split-v" rims. Alternatively - A cheaper set of 18" wheels and M/T tires dedicated for off-roading is the best way to go! The price difference in 18 vs 19" rubber may even pay for the smaller rims if he can find a good deal... -

wow - Im surprised you got that far. From the looks of your stock tires, I would have guessed that your truck was dropped there by a helicopter ;-) That looks like M/T tire territory, or lots of patience with a winch. -

Thanks for the compliments. It was time to rotate the tires anyway, so I taped them off and sprayed them 2 at a time. I used rustolum metallic (pictured). Its a nice color and texture match to the fender trim. Its also a bit sparkley like the OEM silver wheels. -

Thanks! White and NON-GPS where two of my required search criteria. I cant believe its been 1 year already since I picked it up. The Kenwood touchscreen / gps / v500 can also be configured to do either momentary (while finger is on the screen) or toggled (like my lights). -

The bunny brought me Off-road lights and black wheels ;-) I'm not a fan of the LR Off-road light switch, so I hooked the lights relay up to my touch screen. Thanks to techboydino, for a sell me his lights (sans switch). The Kenwood v500 has 2 switched 12v outputs. The roof light button is... -

Lights package
Roof mounted lights can also light up the hood (bonnet). Some complain that this kills their nightvision. KC makes extended guards, or others paint/decal their hood flat black. I actually like this look alot for my white LR. I just might put lights up top to justify it ;-)
