that's probably about right for a trade in. just today i was looking at prices of 2005 & 2006 LR3's as my sister and her husband are in need of a new SUV. throughout texas prices were anywhere from 18k-21k. -

i knocked out my wife's on a saturday. i took all the wheels off and put the D2 on jack stands. i sanded/cleaned the wheels and then taped off the tires with newspaper. a few light coats of white and then a sealant. i let the truck set for a couple of days before driving it. -

rattle can them. i had the wheels on my LR3 sandblasted and powdercoated. i spray painted my wife's D2s wheels. lots cheaper, easier to fix, and look just as good. my powdercoating is starting to take a few dings. -

hey ryan, that price at your dealer is about right for four BFT TAKO tires. also see what kind of warranty they will provide on the tires and if there is free rotations/balancing. i have the zeons and found the cheapest/easiest way to get them was to have discount tire price match... -
Which Yellow Optima Battery...

front passenger. it sucked @$$. the only way i could get the truck to move was in sand mode at about 1-2mph. it took a good bit of time getting it off the trail and even longer to get a replacement part shipped into moab. -

i've got the zeons and run a suspension lift full time. they are fantastic, but with that being said i am wanting to move up to the BFG TAKOs 265/65/18 to have a bit better traction in mud. i am a bit warry of going up any bigger than a 31.5". i know a lot of guys are running the bigger tires... -

if you plan on wheeling it, go with spray paint. i had a set of wheels for my LR3 powdercoated black, which hasn't held up all that great. i also have used rustoleum on my wife's D2 wheels a few times, which is super easy to touch up and a heck of a lot cheaper. i initially painted them... -

yes, sweet color combo! after blowing a CV in the middle of nowhere in moab, i have been very apprehensive of putting on bigger tires that won't clear at the bump stomps. i love the comforts of the air suspension, but trust it about as much as i do a politican. i think the 265/65/18 BFG... -

best i could find was 4 wheel parts. they can get you a 5% discount coming out to $1,157 plus tax. not cheap. there is free shipping to the shop though. the problem is they don't make many of these, so there is usually a couple month turn around time until they get enough orders... -

so superwinch EP 9.0 ($650) over the warn M8000 ($540)? those are the prices at my local 4 wheel parts. not too much of a price difference. i am just going to have them install the bumper as the majority of my tools are currently in storage. they said they'll install the winch for free... -
