Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels

With these modern vehicles and the ABS systems, traction systems and tire pressure monitoring systems tire size's not matching can throw everything for a loop pretty easily. Painful really, if only there were less stupid people in the world.... As for the heat shield, no one has...

    20" RR Wheels on a LR4?

Search will go far as someone else just asked this question about 3 weeks ago....... But yes, RR and RRS wheels will fit the LR4. The wider RRS wheels should fit with no issues but if you are going to run oversized tires you might have to watch for lock to lock issues almost like any other...

    2015 Issues anyone else?

I really hope this is the fix for you and you don't have the issues I had with my 2014. Good luck! Keep us posted!

    Brake swap with LR3?

This is very interesting that all the parts are the same size but LR3 OEM 18" wheels will not fit an LR4. It is a must that you have 1.25"-1.5" wheel spacers.

    Brake swap with LR3?

This is incorrect, well not incorrect, but there is a vendor in Italy that has a kit so you can run 17" wheels if you want. They also have a 2nd wheel option to the compo's that is an 18x8.5" wheel that will fit over the stock braking system. Overall I find that they have an interesting...

Landy dealership or non Landy dealership?

4 years / 50k miles, pretty standard like most other manufacturers these days.

    Bali Blue... Anyone Seen it?

That's somewhat I was afraid of. I have found some pictures of it in the sun where it looks mostly blue. Does seem that at certain angles it does look purple. Other half isn't too keen on it and I can't say it would be my first choice..... Do you like it or Loire blue better?

Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels

In being at an event with Justin he seemed like he genuinely wants the Land Rover aftermarket to be successful. He is one of the few vendors that seems to have been around for a while and tries to make it to as many events as possible. I would think he would make them priced as competitively...

    Bali Blue... Anyone Seen it?

Interested in a Bali Blue LR4 but there seem to be very little pictures online of it. The dealership has posted a bunch but they seem to be the best there are. Disco3 has some pictures of it in a gallery as well. Anyone actually seen it in person? In different lighting conditions? Is it...

Ugh, don't tell me that. The one I have been eye'ing just dropped $1k in price. The itch is strong!

Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels

LUCKY8 is NOW...... THE OFFICIAL US Dealer for Compomotive wheels!! Per the Expedition Portal forum they will be updating with details soon of this announcement. Just figured people here might like to be aware as the shipping fees are a little crazy! Hopefully they don't price them out the...

Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels

Besides Adrenalinsports that was on this forum the link below will take you to a post in Expedition Portal's Land Rover forum. The guy's handle is Floda. This is probably one of the best looking LR4's you will find. He is running 275/70's on Compo's. Said he had no issues. Even has video's...

Non-LR4 Land Rover OEM wheel options

I had these tires in a 35" equivalent on my JKUR. They are a pretty soft tire and were wearing a little quickly on it. How are they wearing on the LR4 with the hefty weight of the vehicle? How many miles are you expecting to get out of them?

Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels

I think you want to look for the user Adrenalinsports. He is one of the few guys in these parts to run 275/65. When I had mine I considered going this high. If you go this large you will want to run rods all the time and trim your horns on the front fender wells. Maybe even some more...

Non-LR4 Land Rover OEM wheel options

Thanks for posting the pictures of the 19" Duratrac's. Other than Official Land Rover pictures I have not seen many people with them. Price seems to be reasonable and OEM 19" Wheels are even cheaper than the 20's. As long as you don't want to upsize it makes great sense to run the 19's as...

    Showoff Your LR4

Loving that Front Runner rack! Great looking truck! Does that rack just bolt to the stock mounting holes? Looks like it from your pictures and the website. Any significant MPG impact?

Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels

Yes, access mode is fine with 265's. Not sure anyone has said there is any rubbing if you are just pulling straight. Start turning tightly and maybe. If your wheels are coming in April, I would hold off. That's me though and always wanting the newest thing.

    This Forum Is.....

Only other forum I have been a part of that was as good as this one was the AEV Forum when I had my JKUR. Everyone there was all getting there around the same time and learned from each other. Couple guys built some really amazing Jeeps and it was all in good fun.

    This Forum Is.....

Sooooo much nicer to be a part of than any of the Jeep forums. I feel like there is a nice little tight nit community that has started to form here. Everyone really helps each other and never offers any sort of unwanted hassle. Hope to be a full family member again soon...

Non-LR4 Land Rover OEM wheel options

Sounds like you are set. I believe if you scroll back through the Show Off Your LR4 or LR4 Accessories thread there was a guy maybe a year or 9 months ago that posted pictures of the 20" RRS wheels on his LR4 and I asked specifically if he had any rubbing. I think he said he didn't but you...

Non-LR4 Land Rover OEM wheel options

Tires should fit. I am on my phone and will have to look once back on a computer for the specs on stock tires but you want to look up the make of tire and make sure the tire width on a wheel is acceptable for 9's. Should be. Every manufacturer spec sheet will give you a wheel/rim width to work...

Non-LR4 Land Rover OEM wheel options

I have not looked at the OEM wheel options for quite some time. Use to have a sticky note of every size and offset that would fit the LR4. What I will tell you is Evoque wheels will not fit. Totally different lug pattern if I remember correctly. Makes sense as this along with the LR2 were...
