    REAR DIFFERENTIAL PROBLEM

Well, I looked up the parts on LandRoverParts.com. The actuator was around $157 and the motor was around $450. He sounded like it was not the most fun or frequent thing that he does! :(

    REAR DIFFERENTIAL PROBLEM

Houm_WA, I just got a little info today from another shop that specializes in Rovers. They have a good reputation from the local N TX Rover club. I just haven't worked with them before. They will tackle this project. The owner told me that actuator and the motor involved in making the...

    REAR DIFFERENTIAL PROBLEM

Houm_WA, Good to hear from you! I do have the locking rear diff and full-sized spare, if that's the HD package. I was thinking that was part of the HSE package! Anyway, if you have any ideas, I'm open! Dan

    REAR DIFFERENTIAL PROBLEM

My '06 LR3 HSE is throwing codes that my indie shop doesn't want to touch. They read as such: REAR DIFFERENTIAL CONTROL MODULE 2 faults present P0900-00 Clutch actuator-circuit/open P080A-00 Clutch position is not learnt Does anyone have any idea what I'm about to get into here? Dan

Expanded duties for the bluetooth in the 2006 LR3

LR4USN: This is a great idea, but one thing I forgot to add is that I'm already using the Aux port at the rear of the center console for my XM, in the same fashion. So...I'll need to think out of the box on this one. I wish there were some way that I could toggle between the audio inputs...

Expanded duties for the bluetooth in the 2006 LR3

It looks like the technology has changed a bit in 6 years. What I'm looking for is some way to adapt my 2006 LR3...

Expanded duties for the bluetooth in the 2006 LR3

Hello, all! I have a 2006 LR3 with the bluetooth-equipped stereo. I've been able to have it wired for XM, which allowed me utilize the aux input, and I can use the bluetooth for the iPhone, but I would like to know how or if it's possible to access the audio (Pandora, etc.) on the iPhone...

    Ac blower not working!

No replies??? Oh, well... I took it to my local British Auto Specialist; they replaced a 'resistor', and everything's cool now. I didn't ask too many questions.

    Ac blower not working!

2016 LR3 AC blower is not putting out any air in front, but it sounds like something is working in the back vents. Before I take this to my mechanic, is there a fuse I need to replace? No AC in TX=No Bueno!!!

    Good value for diagnostics??

I wanted to get some info on OBD diagnostics. Is there a link on this forum that tells me where to go for a good value? Granted, I won't be doing most of the work that the OBD readers can diagnose, and I don't have a shop or lots of time, but I think it would help me in the 'triage' process...

    E-brake lock-up!!!

I had been using the EPB every time I parked; I made it a habit. It's a great feature. I'll have my indy/Brit Auto specialist run an OBD scan to check the condition of the actuator. He said there are no after-market parts for this; only Land Rover 'brand'. He also said that he has seen...

    E-brake lock-up!!!

Thanks for the input, gents! After it sat all day locked-up, out of curiosity I started the truck and the dash warning light turned off. I was able to release the brake and go about my business. This will be the next thing on my list of things to do (it seems to get longer:frown:). I won't...

    E-brake lock-up!!!

Houm_WA, Based on the quality and sheer quantity of your posts, I'm inclined to believe you. So....if I have to replace the actuator, any ideas about the cost? Is this a potential DIY project? Thanks!

    E-brake lock-up!!!

I was just backing out of the garage today, used the brake to step out of the truck (2006 LR3 SE), and it made that unmistakable squealing sound. Then the dash warning light went on, and the truck wouldn't move. I've experienced the sound 2-3 times before, and only when on an incline...

    Parking Brake Horror Story

    Windshield washer issue

I have a windshield washer that isn't working, although the reservoir is full. Is there a fuse somewhere that I need to check, or do I just go ahead and change out the pump? If so, is there a link that describes how this is done? Thanks, in advance!

    Reverse Mirror Dip

cmb6s, "Open the owner's manual! :)" Yep, go figure! That's exactly what I thought the moment I hit the send button. :creep: "If you have it enabled, but don't like the way it dips, you can put the car in reverse, then after they dip, adjust both mirror to the way you want and they...

    Reverse Mirror Dip

jwest, I had my 'mirror dip' reprogrammed by my tech, because it was so annoying when backing the boat trailer. If I recall, he charged me around $50 for the 'procedure'! If I'm hearing you correctly, all I really had to do was simply move the mirror switch to the middle to keep the mirrors...

    06 LR3 rear window struts/piston replacement

OK, got 'r done! Very happy wife!!! Thanks, folks!!! It was much simpler than I had thought. They can be just popped right out by wedging a larger screwdriver or something similar, though removing the retaining clips seemed to make it easier. The replacements were even easier...

    expectations of repair costs

I just read the last few threads relating to the brake switch. Please enlighten me about this. Is this 'one of those things' that goes wrong with the LR3, that requires one to be always vigilant? If so, could you provide a part #? Any other things like that, or should I start a new thread...
