Transmission Trouble LR3 2005
There is a known issue wherein the linkage below the gear selector can wear out. Its a cheap and easy fix. But the symptoms include difficulty in selecting gears, and falling out of gear. Yours sounds different. -

That sounds high to me. I believe my dealer quoted me $800, but I had them replaced under warranty. May be possible to buy the arms from an LR dealer and have them put on by an independant that would charge less. You would then have to get an alignment done by the dealer. Maybe that's a way... -

I believe this issue is solved with a infotainment / technical update by the dealer. New software will allow you to move the seat without the key in the ignition. -

Driver seat moves a fraction when accel and decel
This is a known issue. LR is no longer replacing seat bases with defective new ones. LR is waiting for the new manufacturer to supply non-defective units.
