    Got some wheel/tire questions

Hmmm. I may have just found my answer. I can get the TerrainContact in a 265/50/20, and according to TireRack that will fit the 8.5in wheel perfectly. I was thinking the wheel was too small for a 265.

    Got some wheel/tire questions

No. I currently have 19s. I want the 20's. But the only way I can see to get an AT on that 20 is to increase the width up to 265, which Im concerned with being a 8.5in wheel. Or stick with a 255 but increase the sidewall to 60. Which is pretty aggressive.

    Got some wheel/tire questions

Yep, they're definitely easy to clean. My buddy thinks the 20 looks too "city" whereas the 19 is more offroad friendly. Any practical difference between the 19 or 20? For what its worth, my truck is about 90% on road, with the occasional trip to the beach, or an offroad trail or two. Would...

    Got some wheel/tire questions

Hey guys. My 13' LR4 has the common 13' model 19 inch wheel pictured below. Some days I like it, some days I don't. Something about it looks too soccer mom-ish to me at times. For a while, I was just planning to keep them and put a Continental TerrainContact on them. But lately I'm being...

In need of the most random part ever. Any ideas?

So just check every random salvage yard within an hour of me, or are there specific LR shops you're referring to? I just feel like the chances of finding an LR4 within 50 miles, let alone one with an extended roof rack still in tact are slim to none.

In need of the most random part ever. Any ideas?

Lol! Man I think that all the time. It's laying around somewhere right now useless to someone, and I desperately need it. cperez, that's actually not a terrible idea. But I paid $250 for this set, and the cheapest I've seen a knockoff is I think $250. So by that point, I may as well have...

In need of the most random part ever. Any ideas?

Oh no...I can't believe I may potentially have to return a perfectly good set of roof rails because of one stupid gasket.

In need of the most random part ever. Any ideas?

Hey guys. Bought a set of used, extended roof rails off eBay. They're in excellent shape, however the set is missing one of the rubber feet inserts that slips up into the smaller, second foot. My local LR dealer is telling me it isn't sold separately. Any ideas?

    LR4 V8 skipped time finally at 245k

Nice! I've been watching them for quite a wheel and they seem to be stuck at $211 a tire currently. Just can't decide what to do with basically new OEM tires.

    LR4 V8 skipped time finally at 245k

Good to hear. I actually read an old thread of your impressions of them a while back. I think their "mildness" is exactly what I want. My LR is not a specialty build and will spend 90% of its life on nothing more than pavement and sand so I don't want something super aggressive. But for the...

    LR4 V8 skipped time finally at 245k

Oooo! I notice you've got the Continental TerrainContacts. How have you liked them? I want them so bad for mine, but the previous owners put a brand set of the 4x4 Contact (OEM tire) just before I bought it so there's tons of life left in those. I'm not swimming in cash enough to just throw...

Any recommendations on LR4 window rain guards/wind deflectors?

Wow, those do look nice. Any issues with the folding mirrors? I actually saw some Land Rover branded ones I think? And the piece didn't start until up above the mirror. But they were like $295???

Any recommendations on LR4 window rain guards/wind deflectors?

Apparently this isn't common on LR4s...

Any recommendations on LR4 window rain guards/wind deflectors?

Did a search and kept getting no results. Does anyone have a recommendation on a set of these for the LR4? I put them on most all of my vehicles, but weirdly weathertech doesn't offer them for the LR4. I called my parts guy at the local dealer and he said Land Rover does not sell them either...

    2013 LR4 - Battery dead - Weird things - 3 options?

Well, as a followup here. I managed to bring the battery back. I removed it from the truck completely, hooked a recovery charger to it and left it for two days. Put it back in and it fired right up. Been almost a week and no issues so far, so don't know if I caused any lasting long term...

    2013 LR4 - Battery dead - Weird things - 3 options?

Key was inside a drawer in the kitchen about 20ft away. Honestly, I'm thinking the constant opening and shutting of doors over the course of a few days may have done it. Either that or the key as you're referring to.

    2013 LR4 - Battery dead - Weird things - 3 options?

Yeah definitely didn't do that. I was actually able to test the battery voltage last night. 11.5 cold so definitely bad. Charged it fully last night so we'll see how it reads when I get home today.

    2013 LR4 - Battery dead - Weird things - 3 options?

That's what I presumed would happen, but I don't have any other explanation. I literally did nothing else. Truck was running, I pulled it into garage a few days before Christmas to give it a good detail. So it sat off with me opening and closing doors regularly. Then I left the door open...

    2013 LR4 - Battery dead - Weird things - 3 options?

Hey guys. So basically, like an in idiot I left a door open in the garage on the LR the entire week we were away for Christmas. I first noticed something weird when I went to open the rear hatch and it wouldn't. Then I opened one of the doors and nothing. No interior lights, not even a...

Anyone ever removed the DVD screen trim/bezel from the headrests?

Oooooo. What manual are you referring to? Sounds like I need one.

Anyone ever removed the DVD screen trim/bezel from the headrests?

Mine are peeling badly and I want to either replace or refinish. The part # is LR032731 and they go for ~$140 a piece! I gently pried on mine a few times and felt like the pressure was becoming too great and something was going to snap. Anyone that can advise on a trick to get it off?

OEM Hitch Receiver Pin doesn't seem to be engaging all the way?

I think you hit the nail on the head here. That seems to be exactly what's happening. It almost seems as if the "window" is a fraction of an inch too high, not allowing the pin to extend fully.

OEM Hitch Receiver Pin doesn't seem to be engaging all the way?

Definitely interested to hear what you did. I'm thinking its operating normally though because the green handle snaps into place and you can't see the orange inner any longer.

OEM Hitch Receiver Pin doesn't seem to be engaging all the way?

Yeah good idea. I'll give that a shot. Although I'm beginning to think its working correctly and that's just how everyone's is. I hate to buy a new hitch only to find out its doing exactly the same thing.
