FYI fan relay went bad at 98k

Same issue, P0528-00, AC started blowing warm while stopped, coolant temps remained fine. Good friend of mine told me motor mounts as well, fan resting on the lower brushes in the shroud. I don't have time to do the mounts right now, so I just removed the lower half of the brushes in the shroud...

    C1130-66 Air Spring Supply

Thank you. I did find a reference to that code and TTM when I was doing more research Sunday afternoon and would make sense, as just before the trip I put it in TTM for an alignment using my Foxwell scan tool, and after alignment I removed TTM. Maybe for some odd reason it did not get completely...

Best way to clean out sunroof drains

Yes, and totally agree. I’ll be blowing mine out several times a year, as well as cleaning then lubricating the sunroof seal with silicone rubber spray. I saturated it this time, as well as cleaning the body around the S/R. The fender vents are easily and safely removed by going in the hood...

    C1130-66 Air Spring Supply

I am approx 850 miles from home at the moment, on my way to Boston. Just before stopping at hotel tonight, I got the Ding and Triangle. Continued driving for another 45min to hotel. After pulling into hotel, I read the following codes with my Foxwell Scanner: C1130-66: Air Spring Supply...

    Transmission Heat Shield

I thought you were referencing the conversation with "Rover Range" where he mentions removal on L405. On the LR4, Bracket and heatshield are not removed/discarded, bracket is replaced if cracked and heat shield is reinstalled. On my L405 per TSB, bracket and heatshield can be removed/discarded...

Best way to clean out sunroof drains

Working on Dr side S/R drain issue.....again. Line is clear, but drains slow. I removed the fender vent, then removed the black piece of rubber (vent pipe support) that sits behind the plastic air vent, inside the cavity on the right side (facing the DR fender). The rubber is concave on one side...

    Transmission Heat Shield

Check the Bulletin, I believe it addresses your concern...as it discusses retaining bolts for cable routing

    Transmission Heat Shield

I just bought a 2016 L405, read the bulletin, I'll remove if/when it cracks and rattles like my LR4 did....unless removal allows for better airflow for cooling????

    AJ126 SCv6 Supercharger Oil

BTW, talked with Ed at "Quality Superhargers Online" eBay store, and was told if you only use syringe to extract, then put 2.5oz back in, if you turn upside down to drain, then put 4.5oz back in.

    AJ126 SCv6 Supercharger Oil

Yeah, I read thru that, actually contributed, but thought I might get more responses or updated data by new thread, as well as having a dedicated thread for reference as these trucks age and more people change the SC oil. Drained upside down for 24h got just under 3oz out, hard to say how much...

    AJ126 SCv6 Supercharger Oil

Doing the coolant pipes on 2016 L405 HSE that I just bought, AJ126 (SCV6) and only able to drain approx 3oz out of the SC. Approx same amount came out of our 2015 LR4 Lux with same engine/SC. I'm reading 5.1oz needs to go back in when changing fluid, anyone able to get anywhere near 5oz out...

    Heater core swap

Just pulled the complete dash in 2015 to replace the Evaporator down to the firewall. Not a bad job, just take your time. I followed the manual and it was pretty straight forward. I only disconnected the wiring harness from the Dr side, laid it over on the pass side, and lifted the metal dash...

    AC Condenser Replacement Part Quality?

FWIW....I had my system open (lines plugged) for a approx 1 month while I pulled dash to replace my Evap. I pulled several vacuum's and let one hold for 24hrs before I recharged. I did not replace Drier, and AC blows nice and cold, as it did prior to leak in Evaporator. I replaced Evaporator...

    Radiator replacement

I pulled the radiator in wife's 2015 to clean it and replace the bottom foam seal when I did the cross pipes/WP/Therm and all the hoses. IIRC, it was not bad, just go slow and think. I left the condenser in place and connected, as I did not want to drain AC. Just take your time when you wiggle...

Thanks for the pictures. I was thinking different location of the rust. I wanted to see specific location so I could monitor my wife’s car. Thank you again for taking the time to post. Hope you get it resolved.
