Faults with new to me LR3

You don't need to break the cowl to look for corrosion. The water gets to the passenger floorboard; that's where a ton of wires are routed and the corrosion occurs. Where did you check? We have covered the usual suspects for your symptoms in the absence of a water ingress condition. This is...

Faults with new to me LR3

Not sure on the tutorial....I'm sure it's out there. You need to be able to calibrate it. The IIDTool will do it. Not sure about others. If your steering wheel is straight, are your wheels also straight?

Suspension fault driving fast on twisty mountain road

@chkirla you might want to find out what that is really about...your approach is not really solving the problem. Sounds like a calibration issue. @Tictaktoe your symptoms sound like something random. Maybe a communication error or something.

I need to replace my fuel pump!

I'm not sure about the pump but given the rodent and wire issues I'd definitely go through all the electrical and rule that out first. IIIRC the pump is a real pain in the ass and unless you have small hands and long arms to reach it you are better off replacing the tank wholesale.

I need to replace my fuel pump!

Okay, wasn't sure if you knew. I think I've read that the RR has pump access from inside but that the LR3 does not. I'm not 100% on that. My brother had an LR3 and a RRS at one point that both had rodent issues and both had symptoms like yours. I don't remember the precise wires needing replaced...

I need to replace my fuel pump!

Very good chance that that little guy chewed up some wires affecting your engine, maybe disrupting spark??? Your fuel pump is inside the fuel tank!

    Interesting...that's never happened to me.

Suspension fault driving fast on twisty mountain road

I don't think a height sensor should go out of range unless the set height has been manipulated (like with an IIDTOOL or rods) and then Extended Height or Super Extended Height is invoked.

Suspension fault driving fast on twisty mountain road

Stock v stock an LR3 will crush a D2. My opinion but just looking at the measurables they don't compare. By the way, you can use the IIDTool to get to Extended Height on demand. Your fault is probably something silly like a communication error.

Suspension fault driving fast on twisty mountain road

Hmmmm along those lines, what did this suspension fault look like? Which icons activated? Did the info screen say "Suspension Fault" and did the vehicle lower?

    One Problem After Another.....

I don't think they are related...and I don't think it's one problem after another. I think it's two problems. 1. HVAC - probably a blend door/motor or possibly a heater core. 2. This could be a MAF Sensor, dirty throttle body or maybe a thermostat issue. I guess the heated seat issue...

Faultmate/IID Tool in US, Wilmington NC or Hamp Roads VA

IIDTools are VIN-locked except for models designed for shop owners that cost a lot more. It might be difficult to fulfill this request.

    Lr3 fault issues

iCarsoft is NOT the "GAP Tool." The IIDTool by GAP Diagnostics is what people are referring to. I recently transitioned to the Blue Tooth version and it's awesome.

    HDC Module

Nope. Sounds odd. Does it have any physical symptoms pointing at a bad HDC module? What faults are present?

    Lr3 fault issues

Hahahaha... @m_lars apparently not! @Len H do you mean that when you hit 30 mph it gives you the fault? Is it amber or red? Generally you want to check your tail lights and brake lights, then replace your brake switch. If it is a red fault that occurs at highway speed then you have a bad EAS...

    Lr3 fault issues

Seriously....your post is lacking enough information for anyone to help. What year vehicle? Which engine? Miles? Any physical symptoms? Codes? Do some work....then we can help.

    Yokohama Geolander G015

255/55R19.....anyone run these? If so, any feedback? I want to slap these on my wife's 2006. This rig mostly sees street duty with camping trips (so dirt roads) and forest service roads to hiking trails. It will also be a workhorse in our once-or-twice a year snow storm up here in WA state...

Mounting Front license plate holder on foam pushbar

Just don't do it. I have the same setup....I live in WA where it is required but I have never mounted it; had the LR3 since June 2005. There is no way I'm defacing the front of it like that. I'll take the ticket. By the way, I've been stopped more than once for speeding tickets and have never...
