    Thanks. Hard to pass up 5 new wheels for $500, but in NC I do more than fire roads. I do have my 01 D2, but I'll be taking the LR4 off road and on the beach, so I'll hold out for 18's if I can find them in black for a good price.

    I see a lot of folks running the 18" Defender steelies, but has anyone tried the 20" alloys? I have a Santori Black LR4 and want to change my silver 19" oem's to a 20" black. They have the same bolt patten (5x120) and the offsets of the Defender wheels are 42mm compared to 53mm on the LR4...

    Unbelievable. The one dealer 2.5 hours away just quoted $1800-$2000. That is for replacing the fuel pump and senders during the recall. I'm just gonna stick with my local dealer and get the fuel pump and one sender done. I'll ask them again before they do the work about the front sender...

    I think there are 2 senders. They said they can replace the one that is in the tank, but the other will not be accessible during the recall.

    So they can do the one sender in the tank. They said they won't be able to get to the other sender during the recall. So $825 for a new fuel pump and one sender, and the filter is included in the recall. I think I'm ok with that considering what it would cost if I didn't have the recall.

    Now the original dealer is telling me the fuel filter is included in the recall. So they quoted me $570 for the fuel pump and are sending me the cost for the senders. Will need to pay for the extra labor, so about an hour at $215. Hopefully under a grand all said and done.

    I asked them about the fuel filter and they said it was not included. New o-ring, new support for fuel filter, and screw-top thing was included. Do you know where I can get the procedures and parts list for the recall? Good call on the senders. I will see about adding those as well. Thanks!

    Idle Help

    Closing this thread. I took the car to a reputable indy land rover shop and was told this is normal. There is nothing wrong. Revs can drop, car can shake, nothing to worry about. I'll continue to keep an eye on it, but going to move on from it. Thanks for all the input.
