How do you go through all the gears? Or do you mean just D and R? Can you shift beyond 2nd while the car is stopped? I know snow/gravel mode will have you start in 2nd, but assumed the TCU would prevent you from starting in 3rd or higher. -

Soapy water is your friend when chasing air leaks. The fittings at the airbags themselves are quite difficult to reach though. If you've pulled the fuse and are now losing air in all four struts what changed from when just the front was sagging? -

I called the dealer and they said they didn't do the repairs themselves and recommended a shop that knew what they were doing, and came away with Pilkington to without asking. -

2016 LR4 Original Owner. 75k. Thinking about selling, but not sure of alternative rides that can do everything this does.
I would venture keeping your LR4 in tip-top shape is likely far cheaper than buying a new 4x4. Refresh the cooling system, check the supercharger coupler and gear oil, do tranny, transfer case and diff fluids. -

Best windshield replacement option?
When mine broke last winter, State Farm covered it for the $100 deductible. The shop I used is where the JLR dealer has their work done (they don't do them in-house apparently), and they used Pilkington, but not LR branded. Pilkington make the LR branded ones. It's been great so far. -

I got an OEM cap from FCP due to the cap going missing, itself due to the tether having broken and me not having addressed it promptly. It fit great, and if I have to spend $50 every 12 years, I'm OK with that. -

Did something get installed incorrectly? Seems like adding washers/gaskets is treating the symptom not the root cause. Are the starter and flywheel not matched to one another? -

After my fluid change (couple years ago now, done by a LR indy shop), I sometimes get a hard downshift from 2nd to 1st that I don't remember being there before. It's not consistent, so I haven't bothered to do anything about it. Is this a sign they messed something up? -

One of my leaks came from a loose Voss fitting, so make sure you check those with soapy water when the system is pressurized again. I ended up putting the wheel back on without the fender liner. -

Yeah, you probably should replace the spare. TMPS sensors have a lifespan of about 10 years, so you're likely due. I ended up disabling mine using the IID Tool. -

The airbags shouldn't be that permeable - they will lose air just like your tires do, but it should take a long time unless you have a leak somewhere else (usually the VOSS fittings, or the valve blocks). -

Piston shouldn't really freeze up if the seal is doing its thing. Only thing I can think of is if the brake fluid wasn't flushed and got enough moisture in it to lead to internal corrosion, but not sure how likely that is. I believe the piston is steel. -

The brake pad sensor works by wearing off once you reach the wear limit and opening the circuit, so once it's worn through you have to get a new one to get the light to turn off.
