What were your symptoms to replace these ? -
Change the Supercharger OIL in SCV6?
Yeah. Google oil change Eaton supercharger m112. This supercharger is on a bunch of cars and people ha e posted about it. Essentially you have to pop the drain and use a syringe to get the oil out. It is a special supercharger oil from Eaton. -

Anecdotally, crossovers fail regularly. It's preventative, but the potential for it to happen is high, and the stakes of a failure are high too. Coolant bottle i have not heard nearly as much about. Seems like more of an anomaly than a regular failure point to me. -

Update on this zip kit install. The transmission has continued to improve over time. I think it is adapting to the new fluid and zip kit. Super smooth and I’m very glad to have done it. -

Exactly my thoughts. I bought the rear crossover and i got the needed parts for the supercharger from Ed. He didn't think that you need to pull the whole unit to get the snout off, though... So i am not sure if the access to the crossover will improve or what, but regardless i am going to have... -

Got my snout kit from Ed. Looks solid. Came with basically everything needed to fix the rattle. I did, of course, go with the pulley upgrade to squeeze a few more ponies out of this mill. We will see how that works with the velocity ap tune and lower pulley. Talked to those guys and it should... -

Engine cooling - water pump and crossovers. Wiring not sure what that would be. Have not heard of any super common with wiring. Although low battery throws some odd codes. Tranny pan has a built in filter. Have to change it. -

Nope. Just OEM. But they will fail eventually. So replacement is wise especially if you are doing other things in there and already have it cracked open. -

Lower control arm bushings. Front and rear coolant crossover pipes. Water pump. Supercharger isolator coupler. Supercharger oil change. Pcv valve. transmission pan filter and oil change. Not knowing what had been done prior I would do all of those thing at that mileage. -

Hmmm that tsb gives me such a Wonderful warm feeling about quality! Not sure if there is anything to do about it given that it is out of warranty by 25k miles now. New supercharger is about $3k plus install. Although frankly I don’t know if there is anything wrong enough to care about it. -

You can do a smoke test. Mine did not but did a visual of all the lines. There was a hissing sound and one damaged line but the hissing did not go away after replacing the line. The pcv is so cheap and easy and known to degrade that its likely worth it to replace if you have over 50k miles. My... -

I think there are some mechanics who do it preventatively as early as 30k. Some engines are easier than others. Took us maybe 15 mins total. -

Codes were Too lean, misfire, and vacuum leak Solution happened today. new PCV valve! That was it. $30 on amazon overnighted and problem solved.
