I would agree. I am picky about that stuff, and it helps when you have a lift (because you already are loosing control from the added height and everything starts getting touchy). -

I dont get the whining noise comment, but maybe I am not reading this thread right. The disco looks solid and clean. Black is one of the nicest, although sometimes shows scratches the most. There is no great place to buy a rover. I would say auctions are great, then private party, then... -

There will be plenty of 04 discos around. Here they all have a $6000 off sign on them. I would wait. It would be worth it to get one for dirt cheap and have it shipped to you across the country. That is just my opinion. I think there will be lots of them around (they are WAY overstocked here). -

We really need to do a trip. I am trying to get my rear suspension fixed. I am swapping to fox shocks which require different mounting. Should be done by then. I don't really want to go off-roading too much until it is fixed. We need to though . . ..- Slam

Shocks for '95 Disco 1, and other ??'s
Rover has a magical offsetting device built into the Rovers. Look under the truck and you will see a bolt on the inside of the wheel. You just have to spend 15 min to adjust that. You loose a little turning radius but it is well worth it. -

That is not a retarded question at all. I am still confused too. What I do know is that the 98 D1 Rovers were carried over to 99 (these were the leftovers). So the first D2's were in 1999, although they had D1 leftovers called 99's as well. So I think that the land rover discovery 2000 parts...
