FIRST, per user: [txfromwi] the A/B Bosch ICON is an excellent rec. and enlightening post; that MFG's post-OEM offer this option in select NOT all models. This should be stock on any elite SUV or the like. Much Appreciated TX!

[Bosch should have labeled the individual blades "A" and "B" on the blade unit itself w/ a mark, for those swapping out quickly in the workshop, since they "look similar" only the packaging is different, for LEFT (A) driver and RIGHT (B) passenger. Easy to confuse if you have multiple sets.]

Side note: to silicon blade users. I am sure Sil. blades are superior in many ways, but not sure you want Sil. debris and coating on your windshield. The R&D would have to be done esp. for heated/smart windshield glass from the factory and OEM. Plus are they better in Desert or in Mountains.

Anyone sticking with the OEM, Land Rover stock windshield blades, curious your take if you don't go aftermarket starknightmt accessories. The Land Rover ones still look the best even if they **** and mfg. by Trico or whomever..
In the need for some replacement wipers. Do you guys use OEM or is there an auto parts "brand" that works well?

I still like the Bosch in front.
I have vehicles in Houston, TX and Upstate NY/Montreal QC. No issues with the wipers in the cold or heat.
Make sure you purchase A/B and place them on the correct sides.

Note that the Bosch do not fit on the rear because of the design of the clips.
I use RainEx in the back (removing the outermost cover on the clip).
And I use 1" longer than OEM specifications - 2" longer also works.

I use Rainex wiper fluid - in Houston I use the 0F version and up north I use the -25F version.

Perhaps take a look at Silicone wiper blades as well, always a go to is Project Farm on YouTube:

That said, the Bosch Icon seems to come out well.

That big plastic fitting where the arm connects to the blade annoy me. So they cost more… the oem are fine for me.

Now, if there were a solution for the rear wiper keeping its tension on the rear window, I’d be all in.

Glad to know I'm not the only one thinking this... Can the spring be upgraded perhaps?

I have not yet had a rear wiper spring tension issue.
Lucky me.

As far as misc hardware like springs, I am sure Rover will sell you one (Palm Beach Rover on line parts is amazing at misc part numbers), but there is also the website BoltDepot - an amazing resource for all kinds of bits and bobs.

I’m so glad I found this thread because I just realized my rear wiper wasn’t fitting properly (Bosch) and now I know I’m not crazy.

FWIW - I installed a new rear wiper recently (PIAA from Amazon - fitment is not great as the center clip is too large); I noticed that the rear wiper arm was quite stiff at the spring pivot point so I used a small amount of silicon grease and gently moved the wiper arm back and forth to help lubricate the arm. The combination of grease and new wiper has helped significantly (for now).
