cb, you have a roof rack right? And is it for a cb or ham radio?

does anyone have any thoughts on installing an antenna to the A frame up front? it might be a dumb idea...
Not sure about TX law, but I've heard in some cases of people getting tickets for mounting antenna to front bumpers...cops say it hurts vision in the front... FYI

The cobra 75WX ST is a good unit, and easily mounts under the passenger seat and allows quick access to the handset with no visual intrusion into the rarefied atmosphere of the LR3's cabin environment.

But yeah, HAM is the way to go, as long as others in your group also go HAM as well. Did a trip last weekend where 4 of the 9 vehicles had HAM and it was SO MUCH better!

How come you don't have the air suspension control or Terrain Response?

yeah, i have a rack and was debating on mounting it up there. i was just trying to think of a mounting system that would allow me to keep the whip on at all times and not have to take it on and off because it would be so high on the truck not letting me into parking garages (its already way too tight with the slim rack and rod mod).

yeah, i was wondering about the "law" regarding that one.
