all: . . . . . . . . . . . . .

God bless our UK brethren...

Courtesy of Ray (RLD) from the Disco3.c0.uk forum, I give you my LR3/Disco3 front skid plate. Total cost - $372 (included fab, powdercoat and shipping from the UK).

And...

A set of Land Rover OE Alpaca LCD screens complete with IR headsets. Also from a fellow Land Rover brother in the UK. Total cost shipped - $404 (yes, you read that correctly).

Can't wait to get everything installed.

Ok,

Your views please.....

Couple of idea’s after a few sketches:-

Bringing the sump guard further back to cover the transmission plate (about 30mm past where the normal sump guard goes)

Loosing the paddles either side of the intercooler ala Rasta.

Reducing the paddle height.

Loosing the 90 angles for the flat part of the underside (these do keep crap trapped around the plate).

Await some replies

I have someone working on a fuel tank skid the first of next week. We are going to try aluminum and also a metal version. If it works out i'll keep the group posted!

I have the mantec plate and it takes a beating. That said I have had to beat the little wings back into place a couple of times. Other than that it has served its mission well!

Wait so It would look like the Rasta 4x4 sump guard?

I prefer the Mantec look to the Rasta any day, + there is added protection.
