I would definitely call Land Rover NA Customer Service (PM me if you need the number) and explain the situation. Explain that the vehicle has been in
x times for the same problem - ie, air suspension dangerously unpredictable, raises and lowers while driving, drops to bump stops, etc. - and that your dealer has been unable to fix it after
n visits over
d months. Be reasonable but firm. Maybe you're willing to take it to a different dealer - once. Or maybe if they arrange for LR technicians to troubleshoot the vehicle. If neither of those options works for you,
maybe you offer to exchange your vehicle which they haven't been able to fix for a replacement vehicle that doesn't have these problems.
To you (and maybe to the dealer's technicians

), the air suspension system is a complex black box, but it is repairable by qualified people. It's not even close to the Hubble and look how often that gets fixed.
Having a friendly dealer is not the same as having a competent dealer...
BTW, I love my LR3 but I can't see owning it outside of warranty. You know how much a transmission runs?
