Has anyone done the LRE Driving School in NC?

I have done Carmel and Montreal and would like to get a comparison if possible. Anyone done North Carolina AND one of the other locations?

I think you would learn a LOT more and have a more interesting and exciting adventure through www.OffRoving.com. This is the kind of stuff they do:

I agree, but most women would enjoy a weekend at the Biltmore.

I meant to add-- and that would be a win-win for both spouses!

i did the biltmore course in august. they had seen some rain earlier in the week so the course was quite muddy. haven't done the other two courses, but i had a blast..

as for the estate.. its grounds are totally awesome!! lots of fly fishing optys if you are into that.. plus an on-site winery..

Sorry, can't agree with you there. On our OffRoving runs, the women get plenty of time behind the wheel, and they all love it!

Nathan,

There is plenty of that kind of stuff at the LRE schools, too...particularly in Montebello. The only thing I haven't gotten any of is mud, because of the time of year and locations. It rained before my latest Carmel experience, but not enough. I thought going in November would be good for that, but not muddy really.

di_LR3_CO....how did the LR3 perform in the mud?
What kind of tires was the vehicle wearing? Thanks !

...but if the offroving guys did anything in Seattle or a special trip in Alaska or something, I'd be interested. It would have to be something more advanced though, for me...not that I'm some offroading expert but I have been to the LRE places 3 times plus some stuff with a local club, so I just need more seat time at this point (and not more instruction).

It can be arranged. OffRoving has Mexico, Colorado, Iceland on the list already...the giant sand dunes up near the Oregon area would be lots of fun.

Iceland? I would LOVE to go to Iceland. I saw that in the ONELIFE magazine that LR sends out and that trip sounds amazing. If it's anything like that, I'm in !

...but I didn't see that on their website; I'll look again but if you'd be so kind as to let me know where that link is, I'd appreciate that.
