A few more: Lexus GX550, GMC Yukon AT4, Ineos Grenadier. All new so much more expensive than tossing in a rebuilt engine into the LR4. Why not try to diesel "upgrade" while you are at it?
You're correct on the Grenadier, and that might be the most compelling alternative.

Is the GX550 the rebadged ROW Landcruiser? I'm honestly not sure.

A GMC? You're on your own :) That thing is HUGE. Beauty of the LR3/4 is that it is, quite literally, only 1 inch wider than a Wrangler. Excepting the boulder fields where Jeep guys try to drive over rocks just for the sake of driving over rocks, the LR4 will go anywhere a Wrangler will go. Mine proudly wears the "Nice Jeep, Peasant Sticker" and it has resulted in more than a few beers and laughs handed over from the Wrangler crowd when out and about.

Honestly, If I decided I was done with the LR, I would probably do a 4 door Wrangler Rubicon and pull the second row of seats to increase the storage area and allow sleeping in the back. With 2 lockers and a front sway disconnect on factory 35's, it is the most capable offroad rig you can buy off a showroom floor. Yes, it's a Jeep and it breaks, but hey, so do Rovers.

Yeah I am not looking to rock crawl. These days I do all my hard off-road on dirt bikes or ************ dual sports. That being said I do appreciate the LR4s capabilities and it's been good in the winter up here. Money no object I would be looking at an Escalade V. Who can say no to 680 HP? That would get you to many backroad spots in a hurry and oodles of fold flat room when you get there. About the same price as some of these glorified adventure vans..

Only thing that has me second guessing the 110 Defender is the turning circle. It's a full 5' larger than the LR4.
