I have no idea what type of evil is being spread here. The last thing I read before falling asleep last night was this forum thread.

Jumped into the LR this morning. Dead battery. Never had an issue until this morning. The morning after....

Just left my LR3 at a long term valet parked right next to the valet hut where the key will be stored... now hoping that in reading this 'spooky' post, i don't return to find a dead batt in 10 days!

I'm pretty sure none of the LR3's had passive keyless entry, so you should be fine.
