Welcome to the forum... Not saying the rover is a better vehicle, but I think you will find it is more comfortable and better off road than most others from the factory.

I take delivery in July. Adding Johnson rods for new tires, Baja Rack. My time in spent in the San Juans of Colorado and Baja Mexico - sometimes helping the the Baja 1000.
The next step will be a 2M radio and figure out where to mount it. I also hope the apps feawtreur allows software for downloading routes in GPX files (like the Baja 1000 course map). I will check out your links now and thanks!
