So the nav system crapped out on my 2013 LR4. While I saw a few threads suggesting that it simply needed to be reset, the dealership told me that there were a number of faults and that the audio head would need to be replaced for a cost of $4,000. I spoke to a shop that specializes in Land Rovers and Jaguars who claimed that because of how the fiber optics work, there was no after market option that would work in a 2013. The rest of the audio system works great: phone, CD, radio, bluetooth music, etc.
Has anyone run across a solution besides a junkyard replacement, $4000 factory replacement, or $12 vent clip to hold an iPhone? Optimally I'd prefer something that worked with Apple Carplay. Losing the navigation system isn't that big a deal, just an inconvenience. But if the phone and radio go, it'll make for an unpleasant daily ride.
Thanks!
