RE: Need help about the parts number of all brake pads.
Dear Dudes:
I am new to this forum, and seeking help about the right brake pads information of my Disco.
The car is 2018 Discovery 5 HSE 3.0 V6 Supercharged,
original Black 20 inch wheels with a pair of strange front brake calipers,
VIN ending: JA059626
Location: Vancouver, Canada (not a heaven for Land Rover parts, I lived in UK before)
Now nearly 70,000 kms , so it's time to change the brake pads.
I spent quite a long time to identify the right parts number, but no luck, whatever I search, I either get "Discovery Sport" or wrong parts at all.
Youtube got a video about the pads, but the front is different, mine seems like 4-Piston calipers with 2 pins setup, but cannot take out the pads from the back of the caliper (like Brembo).
Thought to disassemble the caliper and take the pads out and check it out, but my space is tight to use a break bar to loose the tight bolt holds the caliper (135 NM tight I guess), and my trolley cannot lift the car high enough too provide a good clearance. So put everything back, and seeking help from you guys to get the right parts before doing anything.
I will attach some photos for you dudes to give a help hands.
By the way, any jack point suggested for the front if I need to put a stand on the side jack point. (Last photo)
Thank you very much.
Alex
