P38 Low Range problem

Hi everyone, I have just bought a 96 Range Rover and I'm having a problem with the 4x4 because when I shift to low range it doesn't function I try every single mode and nothing works. I lived in a Mexicali Mexico where everybody knows about Cherokees but nothing about land rovers so I'm really having a hard time. I'll appreciate your help.

What do you mean it doesn't function in low range, please explain more detail.
