Where is the connection for the radio antenna? I am going to add an FM modulator and I need to know where to begin. Also, is it the standard antenna connection or do I need an adapter?
It's in the back of the radio. It has a pretty strange plug. Don't know what it's called but I think your local stereo place may be able to tell you which one it is.
Yes it is behind the radio and yes you will need both a male and female adaptor. I think I paid 10 bucks for them. I'll let you know where I got them from when I return home.
sorry i posted that last reply on my blackberry while i was out walking the dog.
But you will need a Euro Antenna adaptor Female to Male Motorola (this will plug from teh car antenna to your FM moldulator) and a Male Euro adaptor to Female motorola (which will plug from your FM Modulator to car stereo). You can purchase these at crutchfield, best buys but I recommend a local car stereo/tint shop as they will be cheaper. Anyone who installs stereos into BMW, VW, etc will have these on hand. I paid $10 each.
