97 se 7 fuel pump

Is the pump internal or external? Have to change real soon choking out. Already changed fuel filter was plugged bad.. Seemed like the original. Relays are good! Carb cleaner checked. Know it is fuel pump. Also does anyone have a book on or where to find repair manuals for 97 disco se7 so I can stop asking so many questions and figure out on my own. Thanks

Fuel pump is internal in the tank... access is via a panel in the trunk/boot area.

For a 97 model year buy this:

go to autozone and pick up part # MASTER E3270, its just the pump itself, you have to replace it in the pickup/sending unit assembly (real easy) and it will only cost you about $80, lifetime warranty. I am coming up on about a year with mine and still going good.
