2015 LR4 GPS indicator has red slash through it

My LR4 GPS indicator on the nav screen has a red slash through it most of the time. The map appears to be working and the navigation system also appears to be working. I do find that sometimes the red slash is not present but mostly it is. Does anyone have any idea what this red slash means? The GPS and navigation appears to be functioning even when the red slash is present so I am confused as to what is going on.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Usually from a loss of signal.
Check the roof mounted antenna pod for damage.
