98 Disco not throwing codes and new MAF sensor isn't getting signal

Hi all, I have a 98 Disco 4.0 that I bought recently. When I use my ScanTool it doesn't seem to throw any codes and it shows that the MIL lamp is "off". I replaced the MAF sensor and in the "dashboard" it shows that it is not functioning. Any ideas?

Cracked circuit board or corosion.

No Codes

Thanks Mike ( I think:smile:), Everything else (on the ECU) seem to be working. I checked the wiring from the MAF back to the ECU and it's good. The MAF is working and the engine starts but won't idle. When I pull the MAF and start the engine it's the same as if it were still there. So, that must be part of it. If I get another ECU will it have to be "flashed" or just mated to my vehicle?
